Coast to Coast Tour

This 13 day tour starts in Christchurch and finishes in Christchurch.

The tour begins in Christchurch, the largest city on New Zealand's South Island, often referred to as 'The Garden City' for its stunning botanical gardens, and surroundings. After exploring Christchurch, you'll journey through Canterbury, passing the crystal-clear lakes of Tekapo and Pukaki as you head towards the majestic Mount Cook. Continue through the Southern Lakes region and into the deep South along the East Coast. Discover the historic charm of Dunedin, where you might encounter penguins and albatrosses on the Otago Peninsula. Then, travel across the Southland towards Te Anau and Fiordland National Park. Enjoy a full day exploring the breathtaking Milford Sound, including a scenic cruise. From there, you’ll arrive in Queenstown, where you’ll spend two nights, to have enough time to relax, take in the stunning scenery, and enjoy the numerous activities. Next, visit the West Coast Glaciers, with two nights to explore one of the many guided walks or take a scenic flight. Finally, you’ll return to Christchurch aboard the world-famous TranzAlpine Scenic Train.
