Southern Splendour

This 10 day tour starts in Christchurch and finishes in Christchurch.

Your adventure begins in the Garden City of Ōtautahi-Christchurch, before travelling south to historic Ōtepoti-Dunedin, where you will spend a day exploring the Otago Peninsula and witnessing the diverse wildlife that calls it home. The next day, a scenic trip on the Taieri Gorge train takes you to the adventure capital of the world, Tāhuna-Queenstown. From here, you will journey to Piopiotahi-Milford Sound, before spending the night in Te Ana-au. The following day is dedicated to the serenity of Patea-Doubtful Sound. After a free day in Tāhuna-Queenstown, you will travel through Wānaka to the wild beauty of the West Coast, arriving in Franz Josef. Your final day takes you along the coast, stopping at Hokitika before boarding the world-renowned TranzAlpine train in Māwhera-Greymouth for your final journey back to Ōtautahi-Christchurch.
