This 9 day tour starts in Christchurch and finishes in Christchurch.

Enjoy the freedom of exploring New Zealand independently by coach on this 9 day South Island tour. Travel the coastline from Christchurch to Dunedin with an afternoon to explore the beautiful city. Cross the rich farmland of Southland to Te Anau, the gateway to Fiordland National Park. Then visit Milford Sound and enjoy 2.5 hour nature cruise. Return to Queenstown for 2 nights and a full day to explore at your leisure. Your journey continues north to the rugged West Coast and the unique Franz Josef region. A full day to enjoy the local walks and unique activities, then it's on to Greymouth where you will board the world famous TranzAlpine scenic train for your return across the Southern Alps. Accommodation is in your own private, quality hotel and motel rooms.
